Thank you so much Patti for your remarks about the early days of the orphan drug epic. The amazing thing is how big the group of orphan drug companies has grown! Early on it was just small companies like Orphan Medical where you worked, but now that some of those small companies have succeeded (e.g., Celgene, Biomarin, etc.) so many other small companies have jumped into the space. And for many their new executives are people who trained at the companies that grew so successful!
